Despite intense blueberry fruit and some chocolatey and spicy notes from 10 months in oak, the wine is elegant and fresh with a touch of balsamic, floral aromas and fine grain tannin.

Bright acids perk up a core of dark red/cherry fruit. Blood orange, new leather and cedar build into the succulent finish. This is a fine effort from one of the top vigneron families in Barolo.
